If you are new to internet marketing or trying to start an online business you might have thought about if you could possibly even afford to start your own business. Well, the good news is, you don't have to spend a lot of money to start your own business online. You can start for as little as your budget allows and there are various ways to go about setting things up for your business at a low cost.

If you already have a product or service you can purchase a domain name for less than $10.00 a year, set up website hosting for less than $10.00 a month, create a website using free software and you can have your business set up for the most part. Of course there are some other details you would need to take care of but as far as cost that's about it. If you don't have a product or service you can create an information product by writing an e-book or course on something you are knowledgeable about. It costs nothing but time to write the information and then you can set up your business from there.

You can also be an affiliate marketer and promote other people's products and services. As an affiliate marketer a lot of the work has already been done for you and you just have to market your affiliate information so customers will go through you to purchase the product. You can purchase a domain name as discussed before in order to create your own unique identity but if you have no budget at all you can just use your affiliate link information to market the offer.

After you have your business set up you are ready to advertise and market your business. You might ask 'How much is this going to cost me?' Again, as with setting up your business you can advertise for as little or as much as your budget allows. There are numerous sources where you can promote your business for free. There are free classified ad sites, you can write articles about your business and post them for free on many different sites, you can set up a blog and have links to your site, free offline marketing strategies and other ways to advertise for free. If you have a little money to use for marketing your business there are a number of ways to do so at low cost.
